Thrifty Car Rental Booking Policy

You can hire a vehicle from Thrifty by going to the website and choosing your pick-up location and dates, then follow the quick reservation process to complete your booking. Your vehicle will be ready for pick up at the location and dates that you selected.

Thrifty Car Rental Cancellation Policy

A grace period of 7 days is given for booking cancellations on pre-paid reservations. No charges will apply if you cancel within those 7 days. Cancellations beyond the 7 day grace period will have cancellations charge applied to their bill. 

Charges and fees may apply for rentals that are returned at an earlier time than were agreed upon, returned late, or modifications on bookings were done.

An early return fee applies if you did not prepay your rental charges and returned the vehicle more than 24 hours early than indicated on the rental agreement. You will only pay for the days used, but a $25 charge will apply to cover Thrifty's inability to rent your vehicle during the remaining time reserved for your use. 

A late return fee of $16 per day in addition to the extra rental days for a late return. This is to compensate Thrifty for the costs we incur in finding alternative vehicles to satisfy their next booking for your vehicle. 

A return change fee of $10 for any changes to the location or date/time of your rental agreement.
